There's a buncha games I started, did enjoy, but then stopped for 1 reason or another. in the final quarter it was because BL4 consumed my every waking moment. So, from what I did finish, my faves that released in 2025 were:

replaying OG Resident Evil 2 for no apparent reason and I'm reminded at how surprisingly good Paul Haddad's performance was as Leon. Especially for the era when the (still wonderful) melodrama of Metal Gear Solid was seen as the height of video game voice acting.
