My only opposition to this thought is that some people *do* have fun playing that way, which is why saying, "I play to have fun," is a flawed statement. Playing casually is valid! Fun is subjective.
I say this as someone who plays cozy games "wrong" with spreadsheets and notes. Live and let live.
