I remain convinced that AI is fundamentally a labor-punishing technology, not a labor-replacing one; the point is to force existing workers to accept lower wages & worse conditions because of the threat of a replacement that’s not practically possible at scale

Solar is so fucking good. My dad got in early on solar (like late 2000's-early 2010's) and got a bunch of panels installed on my parent's house (facing south!) and it chopped the $400+ electric bill we had to like... $20 (the cost to be hooked to the power grid lol)
