Another lot another gem..
Today find was a phone loaded with games, and one of them being
“Biohazard the Episodes”.
So far it seems to be working in full, but more testing and processing to come!

R.O.B. - Ride on the Beat!! was preserved by @yuvi.app! Released in 2005 for keitai, this is a 3D rhythm game where you ride a hoverboard and change lanes to the beat of the music. It's pretty fun! The 3D graphics are also quite good for a 2005 keitai game.

I got a bit curious... SMT9 already found the text routine to control location, sizing, width, and more. So I made the text half as small compared to just how it was. Guess this game can be done after all.

Beat Snatcher the other night. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that’s held up so nicely and honestly shocked me for how good the story is and told for a late 80s game. Honestly had a perfect pace and length. However I’m def craving more.

Glad to have this in my collection

The original i-mode release of #Bomberman 3D was preserved by @yuvi.app! Released in 2004, the game has fully 3D stages with multiple elevations. Its EZweb, Yahoo Keitai, and international J2ME releases have also been preserved to various extents.

Roughly two months ago I preserved Tales of Tactics ~Trial Version~ for iMode!
This is a crowning jewel of the games in my opinion and so happy to have at least recovered the trial version. Since the first chapter is fully playable.

ICYMI, @yuvi.app partially preserved Biohazard: The Operations, a previously-lost Biohazard keitai game! It heavily relied on missing SD card data, but Yuvi painstakingly recreated the data from scratch, resulting in all missions and online leaderboards being functional! (1/2)

Thankfully, the game does include a working map that displays your current section of the mansion—though it doesn’t indicate which frame—so it served as a reference. Over the course of about 30 hours, I rebuilt the entire mansion piece by piece from those black voids.

From there, the most difficult and time-consuming step began: painstakingly reconstructing the mansion, one scene at a time. Essentially, I would enter the game, move around in a pitch-black void (screenshot here), and try to deduce which part of the map I had reached.

The next challenge was that I had no idea what image IDs, patterns, or references the game expected, and much of the code was heavily obfuscated. To work around this, I generated plain black images labeled with ID numbers so I could track exactly which files the game was attempting to load.

I managed to get it running—but the battle wasn’t over yet. The game was unstable, frequently crashing due to missing SD card data. After digging into the code and testing, I discovered the app required “scene files,” which were primarily background images accompanied by text files.

This app turned out to be an SD-related game—at least partially. What makes it unique is that it relies on both the SP and SD cards for storing data. At first, the game refused to even boot due to missing essential files. After some reverse engineering and building a custom server,

I recovered the first part of a horror adventure series called theresia, from a f904i yesterday.
Super creepy and quite compelling to finish it!
