I feel like kids are often left out of the discourse on bike lanes, especially in the media. Children have had enough of their independence stripped; there should be a focus on returning that. Bike lanes are a great tool.

Yeah she is a giant. 8 years old, starting grade 3 and like 4"8. We are thinking shorter stem and the narrowest redshift kitchen sink bars / bag combo. Agreed, fit is so important

The perfect bike for her. We need a shorter stem and we're going to do some upgrades over time..... She is thrilled. Loves the drop bars. The shifting is precise and she's got it mostly figured out. @bikebikeyyc.bsky.social yes it is noticeably fast.

The blue line is closed from downtown to Westbrook this weekend. Shuttle buses are in place but we chose the hill..... #yycbike.

It uses the ccha 3 speed system... Climbing, cruising & hauling ass. They have had a non-assisted 3 speed auto shift rear hub for their mid drives since 2022. With proper setup it should tackle any hill.

I've been riding Northwest... Bowness to Tuscany then rolling the hills through watermark / bearspaw. Some nice punchy climbs, empty bike paths & massive freshly paved suburban streets that are empty. Aggression is also up in the core, paths are congested, lots of red light running etc. #headsup

Need you to check the specs on the fork, Marin doesn't list on website. I'm going to eBay a 160 or 165mm GXP compatible SRAM carbon road crank. All I need to buy is the crank, carbon fork and 11 spd mech.
