About two pages in of hearing it read out loud he goes "oh, this is a poem. all same sounds! That's alliter...um?"
Though as for poetry more generally, I've yet to meet a kid that doesn't know and love some Shel Silverstein

I knew it would be good so I bought it immediately, but my son had no idea, so it's really cool to see him become gradually curious and then *bam*, hooked.

Not only is this a great read, and an excellent retelling, it is *so much fun* to declaim an epic poem to your child as a bedtime story

Me: "I don't know, buddy, it's a graphic novel type thing, those aren't usually fun to read out loud..."
Him: 'PLEASE??'
Me: "okay, let's give this a shot and see"
Half the book and far later than is proper for a school night I finally had to call it for the night.
Him: 'PLEASE??'

You have done an excellent job of distilling what little claustrophobia I have and injecting it directly into my veins (through my eyeballs. Because reading). So, um.... Thanks for that

Wait what
That was a thing??
I mean I currently lean*full* picture frames against my walls but that's because I just repainted and I'm too stressed to figure out where things are going to go now

So, given what I know about you, yes, no smart home for you. *Yet*. The level of effort to do it in a way that would avoid these problems is currently too high. There's a trend, though, of clawing all these things back under local control. It's headed in the right direction.

Back in college one of my "party tricks" woke be to passably belt this out from beginning to end.
It was usually met with chuckles and groans at the beginning but by the end everyone had to admit it's a good song. It wasn't until ages later that I realized *it was you all along*

Please realize that "by force" does not mean "without consent". It *also* means "to fill someone with intense delight and pleasure".

Okay so the only thing that might stop me from buying this... Is the third book really the last one?

I took a long break for reasons that had nothing to do with the comic itself and I just found my open tab with it (don't ask) last week and I've been ploughing through it.
