It's crazy, like why do they even bother with 2, 3, and 4 stars? Just have a thumbs up and thumbs down. Not only would that make it easier on them, but it would make more sense to the customer about what the ratings mean.

I blame Uber culture, which decided that the 5-star system is a pass/fail model: under 5 is a disaster. One time I did a survey after buying a car; I gave 5-5-4-5 (finance made me wait 90 mins but were still good). Saleslady got docked a bonus because a customer gave less than 5 stars to something.

This is great for you! Hope you see some spikes in book sales... and don't worry, we won't tell her what you said about her performance in LES MIS :)

I produce TV shows for a subscription streaming service. You’d be shocked* to learn how many people ask me a) for a free password; or b) when it’ll be on YouTube.

Again, nobody is obligated to watch/pay for my shows. But to ask ME how to avoid compensating me is rude as hell.

*not shocked at all

It’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen. When I think back on my favorite days in the year 2025, the day I saw whole bloody affair on the big screen makes a good case for #1.

Yeah he didn’t write or create it but directed half the episodes (first two and last two) and it feels very much like Campos material through and through — despite the sort of page-turner cheap paperback subject matter.

Ah that makes sense. Bummer that they struck bad new ones. Wish you could have been in L.A. to see QT's print.

I mean if you'd told me someone from Hang Up wrote a scorigami article, my money would have been on @stefanfatsis.bsky.social so this a pretty big upset all things considered.

I did not feel that way at all when I saw it in 70 at the Vista in L.A. a few months ago. Are you sure it wasn't your projection somehow? I know it's the same print traveling around but it looked gorgeous at my screening.

This is why I don't make my top 10 list until the end of January.

You and Jason were easily my top 2 and I had a tough choice. Ultimately went with the non traditional but awesome Mexican meal (and everything goes together!) because yours had too much dairy. But you definitely beat out everyone else handily! Especially rattlesnake.

Have you seen COME SEE ME IN THE GOOD LIGHT?

This is the worst thing to happen to an Urban since Nicole left Keith

Indeed. I’d thought by the Texas game we’d really started clicking on offense but today proves there’s still work to do. Playoff could be rough for us. :(

Pretty friggin’ dominant on defense I’d say. Tech had averaged 35 points per game all season (never scored less than 24, and that was in a win vs. Clemson) and today they got a whopping 9.

For those seeking this track out, I should specify the “Jimmy vs. Joe Mix” version. Way better than the original album mix.
