No, this is due to high variability in the sea-ice edge around the Greenland Sea, which can cause this artifact due to how the linear trends are calculated.

Yep, recent weather has been generally cloudy and cool during summers in the last decade, which has limited melt. Though aside from August and September, most other months have set new sea-ice extent records recently
