One of my favorite female leade singers is Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy. This live album, Tyrants of the Rising Sun, was recorded when she still fronted the band. Amazing record! #ArchEnemy

Mannheim Steamroller with their album Live. Got to have a live album of Christmas music to round out this year. One of the best bands for holiday music. #MannheimSteamroller

Brand new album from Lynchgate titled Precipice. Great album particularly liked the songs Renunciation and Death's Twilight Kingdom. I think Mausoleum of Steel and Anagnorisis are also standouts on this. #Lynchgate

I've been a fan of In This Moment since I first discovered them on MySpace almost 20 years ago. The live album is Live at The Orpheum and I think it captures their original sound and the very beginning of the new sound that would define their career and discography. #InThisMoment

Exodus is such a great band and one that has had various lineups. This album is titled British Disaster: The Battle of '89 (Live At The Astoria) and captures that early live thrash metal sound! #Exodus

Amon Amarth is a fantastic melodic death metal band from Sweden. The Pursuit of Vikings: Live at Summer Breeze is a pretty sweet spot for their catalog of music with 30 tracks. #AmonAmarth

Finishing 2025 off strong with my new years resolution with In Flames with Used & Abused: In Live We Trust. This band is amazing! #InFlames

Madness in Manila: Shadows Fall Live In The Philippines 2009 is the live album I'm listening to. We need a new album from them soon! #ShadowsFall

I feel like W.A.S.P. is an underrated band that doesn't get its due. Great songs and guitar play! #WASP

INK is such a great band to see live whether it's on a big stage or a small one. I've had the good fortune of seeing them live in a couple club shows! #IceNineKills #INK

Zombie is such a great performer live. Sometimes the vocals aren't the best because he's running around so much but it doesn't detract from how great the performance is. #RobZombie

I cannot tell you how much I love Testament. Dark Roots of the Earth is a great album and is probably the best lineup with Chuck, Alex, Eric, Greg, & Gene. ##Testament

Unleashed in the East is one of my favorite live albums. Judas Priest is just the best! #JudasPriest

Another band I love is Pantera and this is their live album Official Live: 101 Proof. I think this really captures them and how heavy and aggressive they were. #Pantera

My morning choice is Live S**t: Binge & Purge by Metallica. I had originally purchased the box set on cassette, but it went missing during a move, and I had to purchase it again, this time on CD. #Metallica

On to The Jam and the live album Dig The New Breed. This album would mark the last album released before the band split up. #TheJam

Post-Punk band Wire is my choice this morning. Documents and Eyewitnesses 1979-1980 is the album. This is a very experimental album and not a straightforward live album. #Wire

A little punk to finish off my workday with The Stranglers. The album is Live (X Cert) and was released on my birthday in 1979. #TheStranglers

Dipping my toes back into some prog rock with Todd Rundgren. The live album is Back To The Bars and I was interested to see that there are a couple guests on this like Stevie Nicks, Darryl Hall & John Oates. #ToddRundgren

How about some Canadian rock with April Wine. The live album is Live at the El Mocambo which they recorded when they opened for the Rolling Stones. #AprilWine

I love Black Label Society and Zakk Wylde. This is their live album Alcohol Fueled Brewtality and was recorded late 2000. #BlackLabelSociety

I always find it interesting when a band has huge commercial success and people associate the song(s) as that band. I think The J. Geils Band fits that description even though there is like 8-10 albums before their breakthrough. Live: Blow Your Face Out is from those before times. #TheJGeilsBand
