Seriously, we're about to get flooded with news articles that feature anonymous quotes from people with power wondering why other people with power won't do something to stop Trump.
When you think of the core of American politics as a large collection of individuals who have enough social, political, and financial capital to speak up against despotism but don't wanna spend that capital because they're hoping someone else will, it all really starts to make sense.
