(2/2) We can just choose whatever suits our need, this for this, that for that, replace either for something we like better when it comes along. Seriously, let's stop getting conned into thinking we have to permentantly choose between 2 things in life, be it products, people, opinions, whatever.

This is why laws around smoking changed, and it's now illegal to ride without a helmet. Saddens me when harm persists because people have made problems about politics rather than basic humanity.
Often I feel things are forced to become "political" that shouldn't be. Learning to look at the past & recognise that something wasn't right isn't political, it's just growing up. If we learn that actions & systems that were considered normal are actually harmful, it's common sense to change them.

This is the first time I've properly watched DW and immediately gone OL to share a thought or two and read some others' thoughts. And wow, so glad nobody actually reads this coz it turns out DW fans are massively judgemental even if you're just expressing like or dislike for someone's hairstyle.

Had to pause DW Xmas special. Sexy goblin pop song triggering PTSD from all the bad school holiday kids films studios churn out about some guy who has adventure w/quippy companions & sexy love interest & learns lesson, but it's a kids film so they're CGI pigs or sthing & all jokes are about mud.

I get some excruciatingly painful migraines sometimes, but rn In recovering from the worst migraine aura and weird issues with processing sensory information in over fifteen years...maybe ever. That was one weird surrealist dreamworld experience.

Felt like all the best & worst of RTD back again in this first DW special. Definitely hoping the proper series shows some growth in his storytelling. Not gonna judge the future on this one "welcome home" episode, I'll just enjoy the hijinks. Lovely to have eps that are effortless to watch again.
