Sure, but with such amazing density numbers... are the motors just super inefficient? That's the weird thing with articles that just recycle press releases with no critical thinking, if we're not getting better range than we're used to...why?

I can't think of two better all around EVs in these segments from any automaker. It's incredible Hyundai gave us a 360 mile EV sedan that charges in <18 min and a fantastic CUV to boot!
Some competitors, meanwhile, can't even field sedans of any form of motivation 😆
That IONIQ 6 is just as iconic!

The interior's more of an ergonomic mess than we traditionally see from Toyota as well. I wonder how much attention it will bring to the Vistiq, EV9, IONIQ 9 as reviewers rightfully draw comparisons, and what the take rate will be given how anemic their CUV EV sales are.

Doubtful. We're already seeing Rivian and Tesla bleeding customers to newer, Legacy, options on the market, especially the Vistiq selling more units than the Gravity and EX90 combined.

My guess is they couldn't ape the IONIQ 9 or EV9 look due to limitations of a mixed powertrain platform so just went with someone who's already released an EV on one. Real bizarre jumble of design cues, esp inside.
