I was a dragon this year! Like every year - but this time I had a mask, tail, and wings on to prove it! I met a hatchling in a Queen Thorn costume who thought I was a SeaWing, so I said I was Princess Tsunami! It was great.
I pretty much skip Halloween every year. I adore the art that artists put out around this time of year, but the only Halloween celebration I'm accustomed to is a sweets binge. This year, I'm trying to cut back on sweets, so I'm not doing that.

Have you read the Last Dragon Chronicles by Chris d'Lacey? This is pretty close to the premise!
Okay this is a little wild, but what about writing about a magical author who can affect the world based on what they write? Maybe the author knows they have this effect...or maybe they don't. Maybe it's written from the author's perspective...maybe the reader's world shifts around them?

There is no power on earth for authors like word of mouth. Especially with the death of Twitter, so many of us have lost huge chunks of our reach. So please, if you love a book, tell your friends and talk it up on your social media. No voice is too small, every single word counts. And thank you!
