I'd be able to finally be able to focus on healing.
Even with long term disability benefits, you can't focus on health. You focus on arbitrary deadlines set by those looking to deny your claims.
Maybe I could get back to work sooner if I could truly focus on healing, y'know?

I've lost 115lbs since last year. The accident accounted for some of it, laying in a hospital bed unable to even stand up...
While the early weight loss was mostly fat and sustainable, the being bedridden definitely took some of my muscles too.
