As a non-American, having watched so many films showing the US President as a sort of action hero, saving the world, etc., it’s unnerving to see your current President acting more like a film villain.

I think a lot of people will avoid travelling to the US in the short to medium term. So $$$ from tourism will definitely suffer.

For those of us in other countries it always seemed ludicrous how Americans were so paranoid about socialists and communists in their midst. Now we can see the real monsters threatening American democracy are the ultra-right rich white men like Trump and Musk.

Trump seems hellbent on handing back powers from federal to state governments. Is this the beginning of the end of a United States?

I think there will be a lot of international tourists deciding NOT to travel to the USA over the next four years.

Seems to me that you Americans need to change your rules before the rules are rendered pointless (or is this already the case?). For starters, maybe rethink your increasingly obsolescent Constitution?
