Don't know if that's true. Once an air model is trained, it's possible to compress it so it'll run on less powerful devices. Eg voice recognition models need to build on a very powerful set of machines, but can then work on a phone

If you narrowly restrict the issue to copyright infringement sure but it also matters what you’re doing with the violation. There’s also the question of whether you’re personally profiting from it

There’s a huge difference between wanting to release research that was paid for by the public to the public and scraping data for personal profit. And ChatGPT is already dispensing bad medical advice that could kill people. Very very big differences.

The interesting relationships happen between individual words or groups of words. You don’t get very good info from noticing u always follows a, but you do get more interesting info from noticing that cat and pet friendly show up in the same sentences
