Snippet of a work-in-progress Aether considered the question. Did he want to? He was not against teaching someone, even if he doubted his ability to do so. In some ways, Kazuha could teach him too. Aether was a little intrigued with how the swordsman was able to identify what he was based on his scent alone. It would not be a bad idea to accept. And yet, why was he still feeling so hesitant? "I…" He paused. Was that really his true feeling? Perhaps, it was never about the thought of teaching someone that made him hesitant in accepting. Once Aether realised the reason for his hesitation, the truth became easier to say. "I don't want to leave your side." (When the bird knew what it was like to fly alongside the star, it would rather burn in its radiance than return back to the darkness.)
