Thanks @rustneversleeps.bsky.social! As a business builder. I have never thought the way to beat climate change was "just stop oil". You have to build the alternatives, which means factories, supply chains, skills, capital formation, etc which takes time. Great to see my little model catching on.
Listening to @volts.wtf recent panel/podcast with @mliebreich.bsky.social , discussing his "Pragmatic Climate Reset", published in two parts at BNEF last September.

Michael mentioned his "simplest energy model ever" - just 4 parameters - and I decided to sketch up and add emissions and temps.

The NDCs (a plan that every country submits saying how they'll get to net zero, per the Paris Agreement) are far from perfect - they're often unrealistic and unenforceable. But anyone who cares about the climate crisis should feel concerned that 95% of countries didn't submit one on time
