In Alabama, the court rejected an appeal brought by incarcerated people punished or threatened with punishment for refusing to work in our case Stanley v. Ivey. We're disappointed, but not defeated. The fight continues.

After 243 days in ICE detention, activist and whistleblower Alma Bowman is home. Alma was finally released from the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, two days before Thanksgiving, and reunited with her family after spending eight months detained by ICE.
