I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

This Way Madness Lies is a wrap! Took 7 hours total to beat. This game was awesome!...and really short! lmao tbh I wish it was a bit longer, it feels like it starts to get rolling and then it ends! Other than that, I loved it! Crazy OST, fun combat, hilarious dialogue, it's a banger of a game!

This Way Madness Lies! 5 hours in! This game was made for me 🥹 magical girls, weird and unhinged humor, a crazy OST (again!) it's amazing 😭 it shows full love to its influences, and the theme of magical girls meets Shakespeare is unique! The devs might've one-upped themselves, this is insanely good!

Some of my favorite dialogue currently from This Way Madness Lies, this game has so much good dialogue that it was hard to choose which ones were my favorite lmao I love it tho! It's so random, bizarre, and unhinged in the best ways possible!

In This Way Madness Lies, they have an option to switch between Olde English and the translated version in modern English. They do take humorous liberties with the translation tho 🤣

Their follow-up RPG, Hymn to the Earless God, is one of my most anticipated games ever. Spiritual successor to the amazing Lennus series (the first game was localized into English on the SNES as Paladin's Quest).
