because (1) it sucks to lose momentum, (2) I have an unobstructed view of everything around me and (3) cyclists kind of have to be aggressive with cars. If you’re a stopped car you see me, I’m going to barrel through the intersection cause the guy behind you might not see me if I stop.

The more reasonable people are trying to say something like “you’d be poor in SF, but you can just move to Oakland.” But I’m not sure that actually saves you enough money to matter.
Only the unhinged think you can just move from SF to Arkansas and have the same career.
