I TA'd for John at ICPSR in 2017. He was very supportive of me early on in my career and so inspiring as someone bridging statistics education, methodological research, and statistical computing. He is certainly a giant whose shoulders I am honored to stand on.

Oh my this is a loss. I feel so fortunate to have interacted with John many times over decades. His contributions to the #Statistics and #RStats communities are mammoth. His insights about statistical modeling were profound. John Fox leaves behind a huge body of work for all to enjoy.
