Just finished reading Heated Rivalry. Didn't know how much I needed that. Such a great. fast, smutty read. There are other books in the series, but I am not sure how different they would be, considering this was just a LOT of graphic sex scenes. Not a bad thing but might get repetitive.

Currently reading several books and this is one. It will piss you off but you need to know these things. The big tobacco part is crazy because it is clear big alcohol is doing the same shit right now.

If somebody is willing to pay money to murder an animal... how do you think they see humans who don't look like them? They're inherently racist. Inherently monsters. Inherently soulless.

The translations of the first couple chapters translation, but once I got past could NOT put this book down. A better education system than the one we have would make this required reading in High Schools. Cixin Liu is an immeasurable talent. I wish I could read this in the original language.

This is a well-researched, well-written, must read. I blew through most of it early 2025 then lingered on the final 60+ pages until now. So many events during the year were painfully reminiscent of what I was reading, that I needed to wait to get back in the headspace for it. Worth it though.

This is an excellent example of how awful men can be at writing women characters, and just get away with it. No woman in this book behaved realistically. And tbh the lead make behaved like a moron. Anyway it is an easy read, so it can get you through the week if you need it to.

This was disappointing because the author meandered around repetitively for most of the book. There were a few shocking details amidst mostly old information, and then he wraps it up by pointing the finger at the FDA, Democrats, Republicans, & even doctors more than the literal subject of the book.

This was a good, quick book that got me through the weekend. Crazy plot twist at the end! I love how women are so much better at writing men, than men are at writing women.

Jordan Edwards, a 15 year old Black child was murdered this way in 2017. Since then, instead of defunding the police, we have given them more money and funded ICE even more than that, to do even more of what we said they've been doing the whole time... exhibits.stanford.edu/saytheirname...
