Happy pride!

It is truly wonderful to see so many reflections of love and outpouring of support. And it should never be taken for granted.
It is a hard fought battle that is still ongoing. Pride was a riot and injustices are glossed over.

I have been putting some energy into drawing latley and while I am still advancing and getting better I would love to get some feedback and/or good practices that I can focus on to improve.

I have attached a wide array of what I have been doing the past 12 months. Repost appreciated.

Been reading the Cradle book series so decided to draw some characters from description. Was a fun excersise.

My father was taken by cancer recently, a year after diagnosis.
There were never a chance.
From the start it was everywhere.
A fight would have eaten away from the time we had and made it more painful.
And I wish I could say it was painless.
But we got time, to prepare and be.
And now it is over.

Silver armband that I did as a commission.
Need to resize it, though, as it came out a bit big.

Its becoming a series. I have a third that I just can't get right.

Apple is spelled Äpple in Swedish and I have never thought of that before. Two dots difference.

Picked up my statue today!
Jef Lambeaux, from 1900 or so. It's gorgeous in real life.
Very happy with being its caretaker for this part of its existence.

Now I just need to build a fitting display for it.

Flying for work and got upgraded to business class through luck and good advice. First time for me and it was the new fancy ones as well. Was a very nice experience on a 2.5 hours flight.
Also got to watch the weird al movie finally. It was very good!

All set up and already fixed some pants.

Also got a new keyboard. I'm in love.

Some more details to fix around the new apartment. Took a piece of leather I had and boiled it to harden it up in a little handle form and screwed it into place on my full mirror cabinet that got greasy fingers all over it every time I opened it before.

Before and after processing of my jute rope.
Will let it rest for a day or two before seeing if it needs to have some more TLC or if it is up for use.

Project time again. Got my hammock fitted in my living room and cooked up a batch of rope butter.
Got 20 meters of jute rope that needs to be smoothed out.

Not overly happy with the handle braid but for my first time I will take it and then just do better next time. Still need to even out the ends, decide if I want weights in them, burn them shut evenly and do some overall polishing. But it got that smack in it.
