Finished Metroid Prime 4 and played 3~ hours on Hard Mode
Turns out the overwhelming majority of Green Energy Crystals only show up in the desert after significant story progress. Can't even get the beam upgrade and fire shot in the same trip to Fury Green.

There I was on my high horse critiquing Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for being way too simple and linear, and then I go and see a streamer acquire a beam weapon and proceed to not swap to it to check it out at all, and then get stuck immediately.

It's the second coming of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
They're both fantastic games, held back from true greatness by huge, huge flaws.

Sounds like most are saying Metroid Prime 4 is a 15~ hour game. Given that I edit out a lot of downtime/backtracking in my videos, it should be a short and sweet Let's Play series, regardless of going for 100% completion.

Seems there's a special cutscene only accessible by either using the Sylux amiibo, or achieving 100% scan and item collection completion.

Just 100% completed Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake after 75 hours.

Microsoft took away my calendar app because it's pushing Outlook on me, but I don't want Outlook, I want a damned calendar, so I got a third-party calendar app, but it keeps deleting my notes and events for no reason, so now I'm using a simple text document instead.

I'm about 30 hours deep into Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake and I'm astounded by its quality.
The original was seen by many to be the black sheep of the franchise. Now, with this new version, it may very well be one of the best Dragon Quests ever.
This is an all-timer among remakes. Hot damn.

I'm about 30 hours deep into Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake and I'm astounded by its quality.
The original was seen by many to be the black sheep of the franchise. Now, with this new version, it may very well be one of the best Dragon Quests ever.

Alas! This holiday season is loaded as heck so now is NOT the time to see if I like it. Game does look really good, tho... Maybe January is a good time for it.
