I can't believe it's almost been 10 months since I started hrt! I still catch myself telling people I've *only* been on hrt for x months when it's rapidly coming up on a year!
The results have been incredible so far and I cannot wait to see how things go in the future.

Waking up Christmas morning next to one of my girlfriends has to be a highlight of my life considering 3 months ago I hadn't even met another trans person IRL. I love her to pieces and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

Tuesday is my 6 month mark on Estrogen and boy has it been a wild ride. I'll be celebrating it by flying to Seattle and meeting a cute girl for a couple days and then going to PAX West with her next weekend. I'm so looking forward to meeting her in person! :3

It's been about a month and a half since my last life update and it's been a heck of a time. I'm still going to pax west but not meeting up with the girl (rip long distance) so I'm going solo and I'm gonna explore Seattle as much as I can instead.

Found out that my mother has been telling other family members I'm trans after I asked her not to... Guess it's time to start distancing myself from her.

So for context I came out to my mom back in September when she helped me move to a new city and get a new higher paying job. It was awful and I got so much pushback from her (including "Why couldn't you just be gay") that I hoped she would just forget about it until I was ready to tell her again...

Just came out to my mom (again since she ignored it the first time) and told her I have been on HRT for almost 2 months. It went about as well as I thought it would. (She's not supportive 😭)

if i was alone on a deserted island i would still be taking estrogen btw
if i was the last person on earth and no one was around to "gender me" i would still be taking estrogen.
it is not a compromise with the world.
it is quite literally life-saving and foundational to who i am as a woman.
