Which yeah, I get that it's the Shoujo thing that was between the early 00s Juggernaut that was Doremi and the Mid 00s onwards juggernaut that was Pretty Cure but it's still very funny.

Ashita no Nadja is incredibly funny to me because of the juxtaposition of the normal if romanticized and cartoony Early 20th century European setting with "HERE'S OUR OBVIOUS TOY BROOCH" and "HERE'S THE LIONS WE'RE GONNA TURN INTO MARKETABLE PLUSHIES!"

I'm watching it with a group and I actually laughed so hard at this one shot of Charles that I felt something explode in my skull.
