I was just making more of these, and I think it’s a good example of why potters are delulu. We start and end in completely different places with the same pieces.

At least for now, this is the last this or that. Same as before same clay same bisque firing same glaze. One glaze firing was cooler/hotter than the other.

I have a high filtration bag and filter on my shopvac or I would never do this in a ceramic studio. My making cycle makes a mess and it takes real effort to clean up, especially when I’m in a new space that’s not perfectly worked out yet. Cleaning and resetting.

Let’s play a game of “this or that?”
Each plate is exactly the same. Same clay same glaze they were fired in the same bisque. The difference is one was fired hotter/cooler than the other.
