I'm pretty excited to show people more once everything is back on track. as mentioned, I've been somewhat rebooting everything with a stronger vision. but I've mostly done behind the scenes work and just generally engaging with my personal life more. but I'm almost ready...

Showed how it Mike is in his normal state yesterday during battle transitions... now let's see LO-FI change back into Mike. Mike's gotta earn that chill out time once a fight starts.

Some new stuff...

1. Mike "mostly" fights alone now, but has access to concepts/ideas of his "friends" that he can summon.

2. Mike starts with 2 actions a turn because his will is strong enough that if he believes he gets 2, he gets 2.

I redid Mike's idle in battle to match his void form. both of which were inspired by Alex from SF3. Mike's got grappler moves, so I figured to model his stance based on that.

May Robbins... The new mystery girl in Mike's apartment complex. She moved to Autumn Bay from Summer City for a reason. To get away from the big city and a certain riot causer.

being able to do this with music, man... gotta be one of the best plugins for rpg maker. so seamless too when you do it right. helps I make my music to even be able to make use of this.

also, I think I'm gonna limit where you can psyche break so it makes more sense lore wise. it's too powerful now lol.

Got a lot of stuff fixed up. Mike can swing his sword or stab it into the ground. Use these abilities to hit foes on screen to start battles with an advantage. Also new screen transition and functioning Panic Gauge. The tutorial area is getting there...

"Jump Man"... Now if you run up to the edge of a platform, you'll jump to the next one. Tho to even get the platforms to appear, you'll have to Psyche Break. Psyche Breaking will be important for various reasons. Just remember to change back...

Break your reality, but break your own mind. I haven't worked it in yet, but when you warp things, Mike's anxiety will climb. if it maxes, he'll have to retreat to the last known safe room.

Also note that the music changes a bit when you break things.
