This needs to be a regulation for all cars. If you want to do electric latches then it should be a requirement that pulling the handle a little is electric, pulling it a lot is a mechanical release which requires no power. And this needs to be true for internal and external handles.

Kudos to everyone who called them “Kavanaugh stops.” The name stung. So now he’s saying:
