I hate when today's paywall-based internet patterns get applied onto preexisting sites optimized for the previous internet era of SEO & ads. If you pay for the content, what you receive is still compromised to be maximally keyword-filled.

I'm losing my mind at how the New York Marathon website has its own queue. This site literally could have been a PDF! It's a website to display information. It's not a webapp or a ticketmaster-y equivalent. So why can't it handle traffic?
