Left libertarians? What does that mean? Libertarians are diametrically opposed to social infrastructure and government regulation.

I think it was entertaining but it was pretty much just shock porn. The performances were almost as shallow as the plot. There was no sense of time passing, it felt like it was written as a 12 episode series that was edited down to 6 to remove all semblance of character development. And the ending…

I find the trend extremely obnoxious. If you have time to read 100 books in a year then that’s great, so is setting/ accomplishing personal goals, but using it as a way to validate your intellect or gain internet clout is cringe. Shaming others for not doing the same is just advertising insecurity

Absolute game changer. It’s funny how stigmatized audiobooks are considering that silent reading is a relatively new concept in terms of the history of literary traditions. A few hundred years ago people would look at someone reading alone in public and think “well that’s sus”

“It calls itself murder bot” is one of the most hilarious implications in recent memory. Like could imagine how alarming that would be to do a scan and finding out the android that’s supposed to protect you secretly has an insane self assessment like that and no governor controlling it.

Home viewing isn’t the same as going to a theater and that’s why it’s so popular. I have a big tv, a cabinet full of snacks, a bathroom that isn’t public. There’s a certain amount of misery you you gotta accept to get a marginally more immersive experience and that juice just ain’t worth the squeeze
