i read some of my dads collections as a kid. it was alright but all the political/topical subtext went way over my head. i feel like it was probably racist but i dont remember anything specific i just suspect that if i revisit it it will become apparent one of the animals is a racial caricature

my sense of learned helplessness is strong enough that i sometimes find your posts irritating or threatening but i appreciate them for that because they challenge my complacency

what are good starter tinned fish i used to gag if i was in the same room as canned tuna but that now that i have started cooking with anchovies frequently and have had some decent tinned salmon i am open to new possibilities

i went to a jewish day school and they were going to protest us one day but someone slashed their tires the day before and they couldnt make it
