In the end, everything works out. And if it hasn't worked out, then it isn't the end.
What's that?

Berate them and say they have no cards, then beg them for their help?

"You Democrats suck, you're the worst, and you're all my enemy. Now, would you help us fix our own mess?"
Rep. Mark Alford on Trump's meeting today with Democratic leaders: "Let's bring them into the Oval Office, let's give them a little taste of what we gave Zelenskyy back in the spring."

The left's idea of politics seems to be scolding liberals online and refusing to work toward actual political power.

I don't blame the left for anything except their own vastly inflated sense of relevance.

When ever someone actually gets into power the left hate them. AOC was a darling but now...

"Woke" worked on Americans because they *saw* it. They were annoyed by the words they heard or the boundaries they felt. That was called "woke" and they were convinced to hate it.

Policy arguments over THE MOST COMPLICATED TOPIC has zero chance of resonating with people.

The media and internet act like Biden didn't know what he was doing. But Biden was able to explain EVERY item he signed and why he was doing so.

But here (and each time)... Trump needs one of his controllers to explain to him what he's signing. Then he nods along like he actually understands.
Trump is doing that thing where he signs executive orders after one of his aides explains what they are

This is an amazing creator whose work on the state of comedy and culture has culminated in this documentary. It's about the loss of a meaning and connection to the real world many face, and how that has specifically impacted some of the most influential people in our world.

I highly recommend this.

I don't think I've seen it said so well between the liberals and those far to their left.

Two things conservatives hate:

2) Those in the out-group gaining privileges the in-group has

1) Those in the in-group being held to the standards placed on the out-group

Sometimes it feels like too many people are casually political.

Like they follow it enough to have very strong opinions, but nowhere close enough to know how anything works.

Democrats must be extreme in their messages on non-extreme issues.

That's why people like AOC and Crockett. They're provocative in their rhetoric about issues people care about.

It gets attention and is emotionally satisfying.
I understand why Dems think that they shouldn’t fight.

They think they can’t change the polls; can’t change people’s minds.

It’s not totally unreasonable. It is hard to change public opinion! Especially over short timescales.

Neoliberal is thrown around like Zionist. Neither is used accurately nor with any understanding. They're used as terms to shortcut any critical thinking and focus criticism on the enemy of the day.
This here is some stupid, paranoid & self-defeating bullshit:

Everything is new to Republicans, because they haven't learned anything.
Graham: What you don’t seem to acknowledge is there’s something new being found!

Welker: This report is five years old. There’s actually nothing new and nothing that changes any conclusion.

Graham: It’s new to me

Welker: Let’s talk about Gaza

Graham: Whatever

One thing you should note with conservatives:

They may be against something Trump is doing, but will they every withdraw their support?

For all the actions they don't want, you'll never see them pull back their support. So all those wishy-washy feelings they have are meaningless.

It's a cult.
WELKER: Would you support a pardon or commutation for Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker?

MIKE JOHNSON: That's a decision of the president. That's not my lane.

Remember: Republicans live by the Shirley Exception.

They all think that 'Shirley' this won't affect me, or 'Shirley' there will be an exception for the people the REALLY need it.

But nope, they'll be hurt just like everyone else. From abortion bans to being dropped from Medicaid.
Roger Marshall: "When they talk about people not being on Medicaid anymore, half of those people are on it because of fraud or some type of abuse of the system, the other half is because they're unwilling to work 20 hours a week."
