Entirely possible it's deliberate, but it'd be weird given the similar visual cues and flavor text. Pyre Zombie might be in the same boat.

The entire cycle is no less visually Phyrexianed than Shivan Zombie, and the flavor text treats them similarly so vOv!

I mean, this card in particular is a Phyrexian you guys missed in the Phyrexian type update whereas Shivan Zombie got it, so in a way, the more things change the more things stay the same.
