This was how it felt near the start of my psychotic break. I thought I had died and was stuck in my apartment forever and I paced around so much my legs were sore the next day. I started freaking out thinking it may have been years since I died and I just hadn't accepted it yet

I always liked the idea of their being two kinds of ghosts. One that exists as the person still on our plane, and the other being a recording of sorts. Not necessarily any one event but acting mechanically, like they don’t know their dead and are just doing the same things after death.
