Sent this to a friend of mine just now as I was working on getting 'weak points' to work in Draw Steel.
This has terrible context but OH MY GOD this game makes me feel so FREE to write rules like an ACTUAL RULE instead of some archaic rules prose.

I think there's essentially 3 kinds of D&D players.
Folks who are happy with "their edition" (whichever that might be) and don't need anything else. They don't need, or really want, new product. They already have all the books they need to play basically forever.

I want to play a dark fantasy RPG where you play as a druid who can shapeshift at will into various creatures. None of that action-rpg 'click and things die' stuff - but a serious, character-driven game where you have to politik between different druid tribes to fight a greater threat.
