If you think of THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL as a sequel to THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT, it’s actually a pretty good album where the heroine rises up from the depths and discovers that happiness (love, success) is always alloyed, & learns to accept that complexity

I’m not a Taylor Swift fan by any means, but I appreciate her work, and listen. If this is her worst album, it’s still better than 90% of other pop albums & especially 20 yrs into an artist’s career

Btw I have tried doing serialized fiction twice (WAR SHARK: FUCK YEAH, which was moderately successful among my friends, and FUN WITH GANGS, which even my friends wouldn’t read). One diff was WS:FY had an audiobook component—so maybe look to podcasts for yr serial fiction
