I like what Hasbro puts out with The Vintage Collection, but there’s something to be said for the era when Sio Bibble, an old man who looks like the tallest member of the Lollipop Guild, and Sabe and the other handmaidens, who are all basically ornate little statues, could still get made.

After executing Order 66 Emperor Palpatine went straight to Order 68.
Order 67 was taken off the menu because silly kids and their “meme” ruined it for everyone.

Another low to no effort custom, I put TVC ROTJ Boba Fett’s jetpack on Deluxe TVC Jango Fett to recreate the look from the first half of Attack of the Clones.
Not sure why a “Deluxe” figure didn’t come with both looks or why Hasbro didn’t at least put it out as a separate figure but here he is.

Another low to no effort custom, I put TVC ROTJ Boba Fett’s jetpack on Deluxe TVC Jango Fett to recreate the look from the first half of Attack of the Clones.
Not sure why a “Deluxe” figure didn’t come with both looks or why Hasbro didn’t at least put it out as a separate figure but here he is.

I only dabble here and there in custom figures and most of them are very basic head swaps, like this Resistance Tech, whose only real change on my part was color matching her skin for the neck and hands.

I was young enough when introduced to the name of The Rancor that it always seemed cool and not silly, but if modern Star Wars introduced a creature called The Animus, The Odium, or The Enmity I’m sure it would be met with some eye rolling.

Of all the atrocities the Empire is depicted as conducting, few are as egregious as the senseless killing of a poor, defenseless alien lizard fish monster.

Cool that The Stranger will get his due in TVC soon, but the Acolyte character I most want in The Vintage Collection is Jecki Lon.
Jecki was easily my favorite character from the series and the last one needed to “complete the crew” for The Acolyte.
Until then the Retro version will have to do.
