Going somewhere Kligson? How about a trip to another galaxy!

Pics of my Hasbro Star Wars TVC, Disney Parks Droid Factory, and other 3.75” scale Star Wars figure collection and displays.
Somehow Build A Droid returned.
Disney Parks has resurrected it and the latest release went live this morning.

This guy was part of the final wave of figures with the beloved Build A Droid gimmick.

Passed over by traditional retailers, for a moment it just seemed like it was cancelled outright. It ultimately became a boxed set sold exclusively by Amazon.

One down!
Fingers crossed this means a 3.75” Wilford Brimley figure gets announced for 2026 too!

These are great!
Surprised there’s no fanfare around the announcement though- no video, no trade show debut, no convention reveal?

The Acklay has maybe my favorite moment from Attack of the Clones, a shot with Obi-Wan jabbing a spear at it with framing that replicates a Ray Harryhausen shot.
Pure pulpy fun and a fun homage to one of the greats of visual effects.

If they’d tried to do Calico Critters but with Ewoks or Breyer Horses but with Banthas and Dewbacks maybe they would have had something.

What happened to Maul’s bottom half after the two parts of him split up? Is it possible his legs could have been resurrected and are running around somewhere too? Could he someday fight his former legs and literally kick his own butt?

I love this version from The Clone Wars.

That line hit a sweet spot around 2009 where pretty much every figure was a banger.

Unfortunately a certain Senate Majority Leader intentionally sabotaged the economic recovery soon after which sank things for pretty much everyone, even the toy aisle.

The version from The Force Unleashed is by far my least favorite.

The silly and exploitative scantily clad look, the weirdly posed montrals, and that they gave her yet another version of her death for the game make her the least of the lot.

Like most figures from Revenge of the Sith, Hasbro got extra mileage out of this Shaak Ti with multiple uses of the mold (though she’s got nothing on the Clone Troopers for that).
Not a big fan of the repaint though- her makeup is a bit more sad clown than Jedi and the soft goods seem cheaper.

This release could look neutral and could sit, which was a plus because having her do a preposed whirling dervish of death in the middle of the Jedi Council would be awkward.

The original from the Saga line released with Attack of the Clones.
A lot of people weren’t partial to the action posed sculpture approach at the time but when they work they’re very good and this Shaak Ti is one of the best.
It really captures her flowing gowns in a way no other has.

I was wrong.
It’s the seventh 3.75” version of Shaak Ti.

A shocking amount of Shaak Ti.
