False positive detections of the XWorm remote access trojan on rare old Windows 10 PCs had us jumping and remotely isolating them for about an hour early Wednesday morning. A quick resolution made it just a reminder of the recent CrowdStrike and 2010 McAfee mess. It made my Thanksgiving sweeter.

False positive detections of the XWorm remote access trojan on rare old Windows 10 PCs had us jumping and remotely isolating them for about an hour early Wednesday morning. A quick resolution made it just a reminder of the recent CrowdStrike and 2010 McAfee mess. It made my Thanksgiving sweeter.
