My kid and most of her friends are knee deep in dragons, mainly because Wings of Fire. Board games have trended with hits like Flamecraft, Wyrmspan, and Dragons on Etchinstone.
I imagine all it takes is for the WoF show to someday exist for other media to trend.

Unrelated but a year ago (2025) i vividly remember coming back to my doorm and being surprised I have a folder full of art I did the previous year.
That winter vacation I was dismayed that I didn't get to draw a lot that year at all (which isn't true)
