#3Dtotalscattering
... and as if that wasn't special enough, I had the chance to give a 1-day workshop on single-crystal diffraction and #3Dtotalscattering to more than 30 (!) enthusiastic students — exactly on 'Fat Thursday'. Who else had free delicious paczki making a surprise appearance during their lectures? 😏

Wow this is exciting and sth I'm looking into with porous materials as well 🤩 If crystals scatter enough, lab instruments provide good data for X-ray #3DTotalScattering, especially with a nice HPC detector and when compensating the bad coherence of a microfocus beam. Congrats to the team @au.dk!👏
Congratulations to the authors! Great to see our PhotonJet-S Mo source paired with the HyPix-ARC 100 standing up impressively against a synchrotron beamline for high-energy experiments. A real testament to what modern HPC equipped lab-based systems can do. journals.iucr.org/a/issues/202...
Benchmarking 3D-ΔPDF analysis using in-house X-ray sources
Measurement of diffuse scattering data and subsequent three-dimensional difference pair-distribution function (3D-ΔPDF) analysis of correlated disorder are compared for in-house and synchrotron source...
