In a perfect world, NJPW and AEW could get on the same page about what TK wants to book and when NJPW's tours are and we could get an AEW champion doing NJPW tours and an IWGP/NEVER champion in a storyline on dynalision

IMO the important thing is understanding why theyre doing what theyre doing vs making some shit up because my gaijin feelings are hurt about aew. And i am not a NJPW soldier! I cancelled my subscription after seeing Tana off! But i guess nuance is hard

Is clear that the IWGP Heavyweight will be for full time NJPW talents and be defended in Japan. Or at least as long Yota Tsuji is Champion. But if you're a outsider from AEW, CMLL or whatever..... You're immediately elegible to challenge for the Global Championship.

I think people should remember that the biggest way NJPW makes money is event ticket sales, and that World is a drop in the bucket. I think that HoT is a much bigger detraction from the product than some imagined pissing contest with aew, but a champ who will attend live shows is a plus

I don't even follow NJPW all that closely outside of where it intersects with AEW, but it's good to see the old, better belt design being used again

After Wrestle Kingdom and NY Dash I think the NJPW future is looking a hundred times better than it has these past few years. Still some nitpicks here and there on a few characters (send Umino to AEW for a reset), but I'm actually interested in the company outside of just tournaments this year.
