I agree, of course, but here’s the thing about “reforms” and laws: they are meaningless without enforcement.
This regime is notorious for ignoring laws. Trump, himself is a convicted felon, for crying out loud. There is no reforming this - at least not effectively.

It is extremely distressing as a parent when we get news of an unscheduled (not a drill) shelter in place at our kids' schools - for obvious reasons. It is also stressful for the children. Particularly for kids like mine, who have anxiety. We are being terrorized by our own government. #ABOLOSHICE

Happy 4th, #AboloshICE and also blow up DHS. Before this we had the INS and it wasn't great but it was far less prone to funnel immigrants into a private prison system, among other things.
Since 2019 I've liked to remind you that we should work to break up not just ICE, but abolish the entire DHS. It's a post-9/11 reactionary agency that needs to be destroyed.

I've been thinking about why the victims who are being renditioned to random countries they've never seen are being sent where they are, and I've considered both sex trafficking and mine slavery as both the most likely and... least creative... choices.
