The big four of railway rolling stock manufactures in the UK as of 2025: READ THE ALTS
Owned by Wabtec, they usually build GE locomotives on British soil. But have been over time converted Class 319's either into bi modes or DEMU's. They are also going to do the same with Class 321's. The largest train builder by far. They currently build Siemens products under licence. They have in the past built trains such as the Class 450 and Class 444 at Eastleigh Works and are known for making it "big" in the Sprinter, Networker and Flexliner programs. They mainly build Metro Trains for worldwide use. They also make wagons, coaches and trams. They also used to build buses and aircraft too. But nowdays it only builds rail vehicles after ADL and BAC took their competition in buses and aircraft respectively. They also took over Electrostar building, they later developed the Aventra family. Their factories are at Hatfield and Derby. Mainly builds High Speed Trains and High Capacity Trains. They are the reason why Metro Cammell lost their business aside from the Class 180.

1Q55 sat at Wolves after being cancelled to due to flooding and a pair of 90s powered through Crewe. 🙌
