Rufous Hornero (Furnarius rufus)... the bird I call the ovenbird. The bird builds big oven-like nests out of clay and mud. It builds new ones every year, but old nests from previous years are used by other bird species. #birds #birding #BirdingUruguay

Things that are impossibly red #2. Male Austral Vermillion Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus). Exact same colour as the Mock Vervain. The genus name means "fire head". I like it! 😀👍
