to feast on ‘weeds’, flowers, dandelions and get pumped for a wonderful summer and fall of pollinating

The English daisies I plant do not seem to self-propagate. I should try a lily or even a crocus (in my grassy/mossy area). Dandelions are what I seem to be best at growing (I let them be for bees). There are a ton of birds, bees, & a handful of squirrels to help grow & rearrange our flowers.

On Beltane, remember to find the beauty in dandelions. Not only do they feed birds & and bees, but every part is editable. Roots for healing kidney issues, greens extremely nutritious, flowers can make wine.
And most importantly, little hands will make beautiful bouquets for Moms.

Immaculate grass-only lawns are boring and do little for birds, bees, bugs, etc.

Some scenes from our “Walk Wednesday” adventures along the Nine Creeks Trail to the “Magic Forest” (glade of cedars). It was so nice out this morning before the rain! We read a map, found very tall dandelions, smelled lilacs & honeysuckle, heard birds, saw bees, & used our grabber to pick up trash.
