#CD’s
If you tally the scores across all metrics, CD’s actually are the best medium for music storage 🤷‍♀️

Sorting my basement storage and found my old records and cd's. I threw most of my cassette tapes out years ago, which I regret. #vinyl

The victims stated every room on Epstein’s Island had cameras. Every crime was recorded & on CD which the news showed the FBI confiscating from Epstein’s safe in his NY home.
Hundreds of CD’s & Trump is on Them! This is what they’re afraid of. I fear they’ll disappear.

Sounds like you may be talking about mp3's and other lossy formats. CD's are lossless, no mp3 encoding and compression. Lossless digital repro is limited by half the sample rate, which is usually above the human hearing range, but analog gear isn't designed to reproduce above that either.

I used to have a lot of albums, then came cassette tapes, then CD's. I wish still had my albums, but I don't have get up and turn a CD over like an album. Also I have an older Jeep that has cd player in it.

Honestly... for me... it is the ritual I enjoy that goes with vinyl. I love the full sound... but in truth... it is the magical music ritual that CD's and digital media just dont have.

One of my favorite theatre background music CD's from my days in the 35mm trenches..
"In this article, I’ll discuss how 'Music for Airports' was created, and I’ll deconstruct and recreate the tracks 2/1 and 1/2. Hopefully, the article will demystify some of Brian Eno’s techniques and give you some ideas about how to adopt some of his ambient music techniques yourself."
How Brian Eno Created "Ambient 1: Music For Airports"
In 1978, Brian Eno released Ambient 1: Music for Airports, a landmark album in ambient and electronic music. Although it wasn't the first ambient

my haters are envious of my extraordinary luck in buying secondhand cd's

Could not agree more. I went through the angst of that transition the first time and came to the conclusion that I listen to music everywhere, so an extraordinary sound system is only available occasionally. Also love vinyl, but I don't think a turntable in the truck is reasonable. CD's are great.

Best way to discover 'new' old music is to browse the charity shop cd's. There's always something to gamble 50p on.

I feel you. Luckily, I held onto my CD's but I kinda wish I still had all of my old cassettes, just for nostalgia's sake.

Not to mention that vinyl attracts dust, we had dust bugs, dust-off, and dust wipes to keep from hearing it. No dust in CD's!

He owns the whole name. He can do anything he wants with it. Which is why he's able to do all the dumb shit he keeps doing under their name without their consent. The musical, the Orchestra tour, the books, the girls tyme cd's all of it.

Long overdue listen tonight in the kitchen. This is one of the first CD’s that I bought, before I even had a CD player back in 1993. Pound for pound I don’t think any band punched harder at Rhythm and Blues in the early 60’s. Hilton Valentine was always a bloody hero ✊🏻

I am a hard core vinyl person. It’s just more the whole package. Vinyl is more of a complete piece of art than a plastic CD case. But there are a lot of things that you can’t get on vinyl at all. I don’t have anything to play CD’s tho.

If you see this, post a Transformer.

(Going to derail the gif train by instead dropping in the comic from my most successful post on tumblr ⭐).

I like Both Kinds Of Music: Vinyl and CD’s.
It amuses me to see the vinyl vs. CD argument pop up again and again the same as it has for the past 35 years. Me, I love vinyl but do not pass over a good CD copy of something that I can't get or afford on a record. And you can't beat the amount of stuff you can cram into a CD box set.

I have sandwiches to eat later. They are fine but I had forgotten that I had them. I had a coffee and chocolate cake when I came home around 6pm. I have CD's. Salad and casserole veg. Its been a long day. Tonight I rest.

The DRM is a different codex between streams and songs you own. I tunes buys not compatible with streaming players. Rips from CD’s have no DRM so they are automatically deleted.
