It will take me a while. Being up early for the Covid and Flu jabs. I will really get into to it upon my return home. It would be lovely to be finished by the evening.

For now...it is just a ceasefire. As welcome as stopping the killing is welcome. We have not even seen references to the West Bank. And the hope of Palestine being recognised is way off in the far distance. The praise being heaped on Trump is truly undeserved.

Decades ago I was a regular reader of this publication. Loved it. These days much of what I would love to read I no longer consider. The best is often too expensive.

I'm already on 2 tablets for BP. The 3rd tablet was prescribed by a nurse. I've never experienced this before. Any medication changes have previously been made by my GP as I've a number of conditions.

The new tablet can cause blindness if you're allergic to Penicillin. I'm allergic to Penicillin!

Plans changed today. I slept. Listened to music. Avoided going early for shopping. At 6pm I got my strawberries. Blackberries. Blueberries. Tomatoes and milk. Taxi driver kept it in the car boot until I came home from the bingo two hours later. I had tomato sandwiches for supper.

The discourse in the West for the next few days will be e.g. "for all the caveats, let's just be relieved". And no, let's not. That's a feeling for Palestinians, not us.

Palestinians are human beings who deserve much better than the choice we've given them between genocide or colonial subjugation
